My dog has IBD and needed antibiotics for a skin infection and pain relief short term. I knew it would affect his tummy so added in the paste instead of profibre in the mornings as this increases the amount of probiotic, which he needs when he is on antibiotics as this strips the good bacteria in his tummy. He is also in protexin enterogenic sachets each evening with dinner. The combination worked well as although his stools were soft, he didn’t get a bad flare and end up with diorrhoea so we avoided then needing to treat that as he cannot take the medication any more as had bad reaction to that. I continued then on the paste mornings after finished the course of antibiotics and his stools firmed up nicely and now I use it occasionally when he has been stressed as this affects him too. Rest of time pro-fibre to help anal glands.

Purchased this for my young dog that had suspected ibd and malabsorption and would frequently go 4 days without eating and then have seizures. She got a very bad diarrhoea so the vet prescribed 3 weeks of antibiotics and advised getting pro and prebiotics to help re-establish her gut flora. This paste was one of the ones I started and the diarrhoea stopped within a day, after months of a dog barely eating, listless and lifeless with frequent seizures within a few days of starting the antibiotic and support care she started eating. She is now eating morning and night and we have managed over a month with only 2 seizures (both due to late medications). Each time I stopped the broadreach paste her appetite dwindled and out of the 5 probiotics I was using it’s the only one she seemed to have needed so after speaking to Anne at Broadreach we are starting Raven on the daily fibrecare which has the same ingredients as the paste but is more for a daily treatment. I have NO DOUBT in my mind that the paste has played a very large role in helping Ravens gut calm and settle. I now have a young dog full of life and naughtiness. I CANNOT recommend this company enough, Anne has been brilliant in advice on the phone and we are starting raven on liver care to combat her meds side effect as well as other products in their range.

Then feed bland food,but sometimes that doesn’t work either.

I have a Labrador and a Sussex Spaniel and always have some of this anti-sickness gloop, as I call it, in the cupboard. They both like eating anything and Hector the Lab is a typical Lab in that it is anything he can find in any state, the more rotten it is the better! Whenever they have any ‘bug’ or sickness/diahorrea of any sort this is the first thing I try and usually within one or two sessions of having it they clear up. On the rare occasion it hasn’t it has been a trip to the vets for a gastric infection which has required a drip.

Teddy is a fun, playful and mischievous 8 month old cockapoo puppy. As can often happen he sometimes eats things he shouldn’t and

Truly great product for stabilising a sensitive tummy. Our 3kg toy poodle has been prone to recurring tummy upsets for several years. Works a treat. I got this item to try as my dog suffers from regular diarrhoea and we tried a few things from the vets to no avail. After a couple of days of this stuff we noticed a massive difference so much so that it is now a regular part of his diet. We just give him a little every now and again if his stool starts to get a bit wet and the next day all is back to normal again.
I’d highly recommend this product as there’s no nasty stuff in it and when it comes to the animals it’s better to be safe than sorry and in comparison to the vet bills we were being hit with, it’s a no brainer

I used this when changing dog food brands or even flavours from the same brand. I wean her off one onto the other and give her a quarter inch squeeze of this with every morning meal whilst I am doing it and then for another week, then every three days thereafter. It keeps her regular with no sickness or diarrhoea. It lasts for ages, so I shall be buying more when it runs out.

I seriously believe this Probiotic could save you and your dog a LOT of trouble… and it’s natural, too, so wont adversely affect your dog’s intestinal balance. I purchased this item as our Golden Retriever has been having some digestive issues for a couple of weeks resulting in sporadic diarrhoea. A vet trip found there to be no sinister reasons, and we feel it was certain treats and kibble, so put her on rice and chicken for a few days, however there was still diarrhoea at certain times so on vets advice we decided to change over food. I had changed the rice to mashed sweet potato whilst weaning her off it and onto the other food over the course of the weekend, but reviews on this product made me buy it to help with her tummy upset and also changing her food. On Friday when I decided to start the change over process, she had another bout of very runny stool and so I gave her 7ml of the paste (as per the instructions) and there were no other incidents that evening. The next day I gave her 5ml and her breakfast and another 5ml that evening. From the day after initially giving this product her stools were back to normal. She is now 2 days from being fully onto her new kibble and her stools are better than they have ever been and I wholeheartedly believe it’s because of this product. I’ve reduced her to one 5ml dose per day instead of the instructed 7ml dose as I feel she’s getting enough from it now, and I’ll keep her on it until next weekend.
Would definitely recommend this product, I’ve used an alternate prebiotic when she was previously on antibiotics but wouldn’t go back to it after the results from this one.

I bought this product in the two sizes after a friend of ours recommended this as she had a dog that suffers from loose stools all the time so has to be given a product like this every day. One of our dogs was starting with the same issue, and both dogs always have bad belly’s if we change the food. Not only can this product be used when diarrhoea is an issue but also as a maintenance routine for increasing good bacteria in the dogs gut and helping get rid of the bad bacteria, it’s like one of them small yoghurt drinks people take every day, but for dogs. After using for a few days now it has stopped the dog that was poorly from having loose stools and his belly isn’t gurgling around like it quite often used to do and both dogs do seem happier in themselves, we just put a bit on their food so we didn’t have to stress them out trying to get theirs mouths open then get the correct amount squeezed out.

On Anne’s advice Hugo has this at least twice a week, and always the day before injections and flea / worm tablets. On the odd occasion when he has had an upset tummy (the first worming tablet the vet prescribed really didn’t suit him) we give him the probiotic more regularly and it really helped him. This probiotic has really helped our cat who has pancreatic issues. His excrement has changed from daily diarrhoea to normal with only the occasional setback. After a course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory pain killers my little Mia had to go through she quickly developed gastritis with endless dry heaving, inability to eat enough, and constipation. I’ve tried more than 5 other products before I found Broadreach Nature, all to no avail, as the smell and taste of these products would literally revolt her. Then i discovered the reason; almost all of these pastes use soybean oil, which besides being disgusting it is also exceptionally unhealthy for all mammals.
